These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the CalorieX mobile application ("App") operated by CalorieX ("we", "us", "our"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
CalorieX is a calorie and nutrition tracking app intended for personal, non-commercial use. You must be at least 18 years old to use the App. You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. CalorieX is a single-user application intended for personal use only. Each account may only be used by one individual.
You may need to create an account to use certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
The App is available for free with limited features, including 3 AI meal logs per day, 1 photo recognition per day, 5 barcode scans per day, and 5 chat messages per day.
CalorieX Pro is available as a subscription:
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel your subscription at any time in your App Store account settings.
If a free trial is offered, any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a Pro subscription.
All purchases are processed through Apple's App Store. Refund requests are subject to Apple's refund policy. We do not control or process refunds directly. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com.
An Android version is planned. Android billing will be processed through Google Play and subject to Google Play's refund policy.
CalorieX provides nutrition tracking and general information only. The App is not a substitute for professional medical, dietary, or nutritional advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making significant changes to your diet or exercise routine.
All calorie and nutritional values provided by CalorieX — whether AI-estimated from text or photos, calculated via the TDEE formula, or sourced from barcode data — are estimates and may differ from actual values.

All content, design, and code within CalorieX is owned by us or our licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CalorieX is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
Without limiting the foregoing, we specifically disclaim liability for:
CalorieX is provided on an "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access to the App. The App may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, server issues, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control. We are not liable for any loss or inconvenience caused by such unavailability.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at our discretion, including if you violate these Terms.
If you have a dispute or complaint, please contact us first at rojanthomas@gmail.com so we can attempt to resolve the matter informally. If we are unable to reach a resolution, the dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
